How Vytivo uses SMS and your rights as a subscriber

Program Description

Vytivo Health offers two SMS programs for registered users:

  • SMS Insights – Text a health question to our number and receive a secure link to view a personalized, AI-generated answer based on your health data. No protected health information (PHI) is ever sent via SMS. Only a secure, time-limited link is returned.
  • Appointment Reminders & Notifications – If your healthcare provider uses Vytivo, you may receive appointment reminders, confirmation requests, and care-related notifications. Reply YES to confirm or NO to cancel.

How to Opt In

Vytivo only sends SMS messages to users who have explicitly opted in. You will never receive messages without completing these steps:

  1. Verify your phone number. In your Vytivo account settings, enter your phone number and confirm it with a one-time verification code sent via SMS.
  2. Enable SMS Insights. During verification (or afterward in settings), check the "Enable SMS Insights" checkbox to consent to receiving messages. The checkbox includes this disclosure: "Allow Vytivo to send you secure links via SMS when you text health questions. Standard message rates apply. Reply STOP to opt out anytime."

For appointment reminders, your healthcare provider enrolls you through the Vytivo provider portal. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP.

How to Opt Out

You can stop receiving SMS messages at any time:

  • Reply STOP to any message from Vytivo. You will receive a confirmation and no further messages will be sent.
  • Disable in account settings. Toggle off "SMS Insights" in your profile, or remove your verified phone number entirely.

Other supported opt-out keywords: STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, STOPALL.

Message Frequency & Rates

  • Message frequency varies based on your usage. You receive one reply for each question you text, plus appointment reminders if your provider enables them.
  • Message and data rates may apply. Contact your wireless carrier for details about your text messaging plan.
  • Vytivo is not responsible for charges from your mobile carrier.
  • Compatible with all major US carriers. Service may not be available on all carriers.

Privacy & Data Protection

  • Vytivo never sends protected health information via SMS. Only secure, time-limited links are transmitted.
  • Your phone number is stored securely and used exclusively for delivering the services described on this page.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number or opt-in data with third parties for marketing purposes.
